Dean Dirg
...the last kid on the block lp
I know it might seem strange, but Muenster is currently a musical hotbed of activity. First you had great records by
The Grizzly Adams Band, Rosettes, Highscore, Durango 95 (all on ...Stereodrive! incidently), then great releases by
Muff Potter and Hillside and now we are proud to release the new 14 song album by Dean Dirg. Following a self-released
10" and a debut album on Pandora's Box, this 4-piece now unleashes a new 14 song monster of a record. Their sound is
simple, raw, to the point. They shred their chords, they yell, they blast you with short one and a half minute max.
shrapnel bursts of pure pissed off'ness. Think back to when all those really good bands ruled the earth. Think early
US hardcore (remember the Circle Jerks, ever heard of the Angry Samoans?), think snotty, nihilistic 77 styled punk rock
(kick into style with the Users, get a hatful of hate from the Pagans). And then think on. But since we realise most
of you are too lazy to do exactly that, here's a short run down of some "modern" bands that Dean Dirg could be
associated with: The Moorat Fingers, Henry Fiat's Open Sore, The Columbian Neckties, Baseball Furies, Zeke (for pure
ferocious power, forget those "metal" tendencies!), The Zodiac Killers, etc. etc. On tour throuout march & april,
so be sure to watch out for this one!

singalong sounds of (early) Rancid, Bombshell Rocks or even The Clash and more modern, youthful hardcore bands a la

Following 4 albums for White Jazz Records (of course home to The Hellacopters, Gluecifer & a whole plethora of
scandinavian rockers), this wild bunch of Swedes has now laid down 2 tracks for a brandnew 7” on …Stereodrive! Records.
Both songs are previously unreleased and show the band in fine form: Massive, rocking guitar action meets some
fine & sleazy desperado punk in a head on collision. These cats swagger & sway without losing their momentum

Puffball
Outlaw 7"
Holy shit! Europe's Numero Uno Hi-Speed Kamikaze Rockers have
teamed up with us for a brandnew 3-song blitzkrieg. The title track is
lifted from this year's totally no bullshit "Leave them all behind" album,
but the B-side features 2 unreleased tracks of sonic mayhem, incl. a cover
of "Mama tried" by the always cool Merle Haggard. And hey, it's not really
that hard to pin down Puffball's brand of uncompromising noise, although
plenty of folks still don't seem to get it. Puffball are all about maximum
speed, maximum volume and pushing the limits to the absolutely ridiculous!
Take equal parts Motörhead, Zeke and The Dwarves, highball 'em with a
hefty dose of flaming nitro and - whammo! - you've got the perfect recipe
for disaster! As one reviewer said "Puffball are sure to make you want to
get behind the wheel of your road machine and put the pedal to the floor.

Grizzly Adams Band
Inflight Entertainment lp
I can remember someone responsible for this label stating some time ago, that our hometown
Münster has absolutely no good bands, which - I can now confess - is a
straight-out lie! Not only have The Rosettes set out to conquer the world,
but now we also have The Grizzly Adams Band to contend for. This bunch of
fine young men has released two 7"es on their own so far & we are now
more than proud to be able to unleash this beast of a debut album onto the
world! And I dare you to listen to this collection of great songs and not
to go absolutely apeshit! Taking their cue from the budget rock explosion
of the 90ies and such all time greats as The Rip Offs, Problematics,
Infections, Drags, Statics etc. and that cool, patented Rip Off records
sound, The Grizzly Adams Band have managed to record 14 songs, that not
only DO NOT suck, but also plain out ROCK! Opening with the sure fire hit
"Ghost city riders", The Grizzlies go straight for the throat, with way
catchy songs about Nazi UFO's, Steve McQueen and of course always popular
topics such as desperation, loneliness & the root of all evil: girls!
Pairing fast, upbeat machine gun riffs a la early The Damned with a cool
late 70ies sound and hooks that I guarantee won't leave your crainium for
at least 3 months, "Inflight entertainment" is a winner!

publications and are constantly on tour. Currently they are working on a

Another neat co-release with Burning Heart Records. Just fresh off of the Heartattack tour with labelmates
Bombshell Rocks, Peepshows & Raised Fist, Division Of Laura Lee have
released the first proper single off of the highly acclaimed "Black city"
album and we are proud to release the exclusive & limited vinyl
edition. The title track is taken from that album, but the B-side features
2 unreleased tracks - "Upside down" and a very cool & laid back remix
of "I guess I'm healed". DOLL's sound has matured considereably over the
years and bursts at the seams like a pinata about to explode! The rhythmic
intracacies of At The Drive In are fuelled by that true & gritty
rock'n'roll spirit and it yet remains to be seen if the world will catch

8 brand new, unreleased songs on this fine new record by Sweden’s finest. Altho
the songs were actually recorded before the session for their new Burning
Heart album “Refuge for degenerates”, you can already hear the trademark
“new old” sound here. Taking the best of 60ies & 70ies rock, The
Peepshows have come up with a very fine recipe for that good old fashioned
sound. Similar to The Hellacopters, they have crafted their very own
musical niche in a very timeless fashion. This record features 2 very cool

steam engine and definetly marks the zenith of Highscore’s work up to now.
The band forges its way through 17 songs that will simply leave you
breathless. Meaningful and heartfelt lyrics, with a strong focus on social
and political issues, are screamed out in one insane amok run accompanied
by a thrashing, blasting and never stopping instrumental zombie army.

lead singer Betty Brat's coarse yet melodic vocal delivery. Add a snotty

authentic sounding surf & garage twists and very convincing, well
produced songs and you end up with The Rosettes. This is pure 110% kick

Aina Bipartite lp
After a short period of inactivity and
with a big bunch of excellent reviews of their previous and acclaimed
album, the spanish indie / hardcore scene "fab four" come back with a
record where the hardcore inheritance finds the definitive comunion with
Rock - in capitals. Because it's not only about indie rock, from
Superchunk to Arcwelder, but about thick, mature rock, with that classical
flavour that will make us think of Cheap Trick or AC/DC and also Rocket
From The Crypt or Queens of The Stone Age. Of course, never forgetting the
legacy of the Washington DC sound, from Bluetip to Jawbox, that has been
one of their identity signs since their "adult" era. The recording for
"Bipartite” was done at Inner Ear Studios in Washington DC (Fugazi, Dag
Nasty,...) by Jay Robbins (Jawbox / Burning Airlines), and followed by a
succesful tour along the United States, with shows in New York, Chicago,
Milwaukee, Kansas, Cincinatti, Detroit, Cleveland, Washington DC,... A
European tour in november and december with Shiner will bring them to
France, Germany, Great Britain, Italia, Belgium, The Netherlands, Croatia,
Czech Republic,... Licenced from B-Core Discs, who just released the cd
version of "Bipartite”.

Last Days of April Angel youth lp
A hook is a hook...but with Last Days Of April, it's an epic masterpiece. Inventive arrangements,
bittersweet melodies, flawless instrumentation and the masterful
production of Fireside's Pelle Gunnerfeldt give "Angel youth” its hidden
edge. Layers of strings and pianos surround songs examining the tender
sting of relationships past. Receiving critical praise in indie rock
circles worldwide, this record is nothing short of outstanding. Impossible
to listen to just once. "Nothing's Found" on the well known and respected
"Emo Diaries Three” compilation on Deep Elm Records. The cd version of
"Angel youth” is released on Bad Taste Rec.

Appleseed Cast Mare vitalis lp
Ominous, powerful and magnetizing like the sea, "Mare Vitalis" is unlike anything you've heard -
so original yet unmistakably The Appleseed Cast. Dreamy and charming, this
"album that wrote itself" flows from a tide of moody energy with guitars
that sweep around complex, precision rhythms. A masterpiece of timeless
inspiration, this record is absolutely stunning. If you've been waiting
all your life for a sign, this is it. Post-hardcore perfection. Licenced
from Deep Elm Rec.

Pop Unknown If arsenic fails lp
Pop Unknown presents textures and tones that will make you go
weak at the knees. Everything fits so well, it's more than you hoped for.
"One of the best records to come out in a very long time, for any label"
says Rocket Fuel. Immaculately constructed pop songs with tranquilizing
melodies and chiming guitars lines. A power-chord workout with a driving
rhythm section that conveys passion and reminds us how good it feels to
sing along. Dreamo. Licenced from Deep Elm Rec.

Soulmate The Nerd Soho EP mcd
5 really catchy Emo Pop songs that fall somewhere in between the fragile
soundscapes of Mineral and The Promise Ring’s uncanny knack for subtle
melodies and unabondened energy. This german band has been around in the
